Copyright versus Usage Right
In
this podcast - my return after a few quiet months (very sorry about
that!!) - I am addressing the debate over the usefulness of copyright,
and talk about why copyright is becoming a de facto USAGE RIGHT.
My bottom line: we’d be much better off collecting a percentage of all
revenues that stem from our music being used, wherever and whenever
that will be, than crying about people that don’t pay for ‘their
