It was on one of my recent speaking missions in some fancy hotel somewhere that I encountered the most expensive broadband Internet charge, ever: 20 Euros per day, 120 per week and an incredible 350 Euros per month (about equal to the average monthly income of a worker in Brazil), see below. Unbelievable. But then again - they did know my name! When I logged on (what are you gonna do!) guess what - it was as slow as my 96k ISDN 5 years ago. Cool.
Someday, probably soon, technology is going to make these charges much rarer, if not obsolete. And hallelujah for that!
