A major shift in our society: many to many AND one to many

I speak about this a lot ( see my YouTube channel at gleonhard) but it seems to have become a major meme across many industries and topics: we will not have a world without broadcasters and top-down communications, but the many-to-many paradigm is sure getting a lot of mindshare lately. I would argue that occupy wall street has gotten more people to think change than most of the politicians' appearances on national TV.

But before you get too excited, keep in mind that focusing on your second horizon alone is just as bad as ignoring the future altogether.
